All past and present military personnel are invited to come to the Lilburn Farmers Market and select a free box of Girl Scout cookies to enjoy. Roxanne Lau, Girl Scout Troop 1888 leader and event coordinator, says this project is “a small thank you that we can give those in the service helping them to remember that those at home are thinking about them.” Girl Scout Troop 1888 is sponsored by Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Cookies will be available every Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm until August 29 at the Lilburn Farmers Market located at 1400 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn, GA.
