Tkacik receives Doctorate Degree

Bobbie and Mark Tkacik are proud to announce that Daniel S. Tkacik has successfully defended his dissertation on "Secondary organic aerosols from combustion emissions" on September 10. 2013 at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Carnegie Mellon University Department of Environmental Engineering has awarded Daniel a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  

Tkacik, a 2004 Graduate of Brookwood High School,  received his BS in Earth and Atmospheric Science from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009 and his Masters degree in Environmental Engineering at CMU  in 2011. He is now employed as a researcher by Carnegie Mellon.
