Two bids were received for the project, only one of which was a complete bid, which would revamp the green space in front of City Hall. The price from the vendor submitting the complete bid was $499,000 which exceeded the city’s projected budget by more than $100,000.
Both the staff and the design team are in agreement the project should not move forward at this time and will meet with stakeholders in the near future to discuss potential project direction.
