Katie Hart Smith to be Keynote Speaker

Atlanta - Georgia author, Katie Hart Smith announces that she will be the keynote speaker for the Phenomenal Women’s Conference held at Kennesaw State University on Friday, March 18, 2016.

“Each year the Siegel Institute holds a series of conferences, workshops, as well as course offerings in the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Ethics for women who are interested in enhancing their leadership potential. This year is our 16th Annual Phenomenal Women’s Conference and it will be held on March 18th.  The theme of this year’s conference is women who have made a major change in their lives.  When I read an article about Katie’s book, Couch Time with Carolyn, and heard her radio interview, I thought she would be a perfect keynote speaker,” says Dr. Linda M. Johnston, Executive Director and Professor, Siegel Institute for Leadership, Ethics and Character, Kennesaw State University.

Katie at bricks190Smith states, “I am honored by Dr. Johnston’s invitation. I believe that it is important to share our stories so other women can be empowered and gain insight, strength, and wisdom to pursue their life’s dreams and ambitions. The Siegel Institute’s mission is to ‘promote study, research, reflection, and understanding of ethics and leadership through experiential opportunities and excellence in scholarship and teaching for members of KSU and the wider community.’ It’s an exciting opportunity to mentor others and unlock one’s potential to create positive change in this world.”
