Local Veteran transitions from the battlefield to backyard bird feeding

Snellville - There are two things Kevin Anderson knows about: the conflict in the middle-east and birds.  For the past several years Kevin has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as an Officer in the United States Navy Reserve, and as a Senior Advisor for the Department of State, and Department of the Army.

That goal was realized when the Anderson’s turned their love of backyard bird feeding into a career by purchasing the Wild Birds Unlimited franchise located in the Presidential Commons Shopping Center in Snellville. “After years of working in countries ravaged by war, it is wonderful to be part of a business that brings people so much joy.” Now Kevin and Cindy, along with their daughter Olivia, staff of Certified Birding Specialist, and Collie Beau, spend their days helping people discover the wide array of birds and wildlife that reside in their own backyard.  Our slogan at Wild Birds Unlimited is “We Bring People and Nature Together, and We do It with Excellence.”  What a great job!

Please visit them at 1630 Scenic Hwy, Kroger Shopping Center, or call 770-982-2650 for more information. They look forward to meeting you.
