Remember the old expression that “many hands make light work”? Since the weather has warmed up, Rotary Club of Lawrenceville has been busy in the community helping others in need.
You can tell the Rotary year is winding down if you know the signs. Lately, we have been going over our to-do list to see what we have missed and if we have met our deadlines.
Installed as new officers for the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville for 2013-14 were (left to right) Tim Golden, owner of Bright Star Care,Treasurer; Freya Myers, a CPA with Houston and Company, Secretary; Art Kleve, owner of Nobody's Auto Service and Repair, President-Elect; and Nancy McGill, owner of Cartridge World Lawrenceville, President.
The Rotary Club of Lawrenceville read books to three classrooms of students at Lawrenceville Elementary School every Friday during the 2012-2013 school year. Sixteen Rotarians volunteered with most reading to the same classroom one Friday of every month.
