Snellville– The city’s police department is now accepting applications for the 18th session of the Citizens Police Academy. Founded in the spring of 2003, the Academy has grown to a 12-week program which takes place twice a year. It is designed to educate the public about the operation of the police department and how the involvement of the community can help deter crime.
Fitch reaffirms Gwinnett’s AAA Rating
Notes stable operations and favorable debt position
Lawrenceville – Gwinnett County officials learned on August 1, 2014 that Fitch Ratings has reaffirmed the government’s AAA credit rating with a stable outlook. The rating affirmed Gwinnett County’s debt of $19.1 million in general obligation bonds, $806.3 million in water and sewer bonds and $89.9 millionin development authority bonds.

Gwinnett Ballet Theatre might be the oldest performing arts non-profit in Gwinnett, but everything this season is fresh and new! This includes the 33rd anniversary of The Nutcracker, which is the second largest in the metro Atlanta area and a holiday tradition for thousands of families.
