More than $12 Million Awarded Since Program Inception

Allen Moore, a recent graduate of Brookwood High School in Snellville, and Tabitha D'Amato, a recent graduate of Dacula High School, have been selected to receive a Georgia-Pacific Foundation Employees' Children Scholarship. Both plan to study aerospace engineering at Georgia Tech.

The Canada goose lives in a variety of habitats, often in locations that are in close proximity to people, such as suburban neighborhood ponds, office complexes, parks, and other developed areas. Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) employee Casey Duffield received national recognition this week for excellence in overseeing the county’s more than 600 sex offenders. Duffield and the sheriff’s office were recognized during an awards ceremony at the Major County Sheriffs of America annual summer conference in Louisville, K.Y. on June 13.
