Brookwood High School graduate Stephen An has won an $8,000 college scholarship from Georgia-Pacific. He will attend the University of Georgia in the fall.

More than $12 Million Awarded Since Program Inception

Stephen An, a recent graduate of Brookwood High School in Snellville, has been selected as a recipient of a Georgia-Pacific Foundation Employees' Children Scholarship. Each year, the company awards 50 scholarships to children of employees across the country. Georgia-Pacific presented Stephen with the scholarship at an event earlier this month.

DULUTH, GA – At the Rotary Club of Gwinnett County’s Club meeting on Tuesday, June 19th six non-profits were awarded a collective total of $10,000 in grants to fund a broad range of worthwhile projects and initiatives across our community. Club President Jennifer Hendrickson shared, “This is just one way of the many ways our Rotary Club has worked to live out our theme this year, Rotary Making A Difference. Our grants fund real needs in our community. This year we sought to fund projects that targeted efforts that support those living in poverty in our community.”

Road to be closed to through traffic June 25 through start of August

SNELLVILLE – The next Food Truck Friday is July 6 on the Towne Green.

The free event takes place from 4-8 p.m. on the Green in front of City Hall. The food trucks travel to Snellville the first Friday of every month through October.
