Sorority Members Make Continued Impact Rendering Service to All Mankind in Peachtree Corners and Beyond

It's never a day off for the sisters of Psi Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Service to All Mankind is what the members render in "Excellence" – even on the national Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

At its regular monthly meeting, the Gwinnett County Board of Education named two local school leaders to fill upcoming vacancies prompted by the appointment of current principals to new positions. Both of these appointments are effective January 2, 2019.

The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners adopted a $1.82 billion budget for 2019 Thursday. Board members held a public hearing on the budget Dec. 10 and accepted comments in writing and online before making their final decision.
