Steve Darrell, a local videographer, set-ting up for a shoot

Bermuda born - Leaving footprints for generations

Steve Darrell’s introduction as a Gwinnett County videographer was a rather auspicious one. In 2014, as construction was beginning on the Snellville Veterans Memorial, Steve offered to produce a video which would show details of the construction, interwoven with interviews of military veterans.

Edward Sezonov, the ‘Honey Guy’, feeding Snellville’s STAT the CAT some of his local honey

Romania - The Snellville Honey Man

Edward Sezonov is known throughout the southern part of Gwinnett County as “The Snellville Honey Man”. Every Saturday during the Snellville Farmer’s Market’s June-to-September season, he mans a booth and sells the local honey he harvests from the 40-odd hives he maintains.

Tom, Cindy, Maddie and Marshal Murphy. This is a family photo taken by the Nationwide photographer who traveled to Gwinnett in August. This photo was taken in Gwinnett Extended Care Center’s courtyard, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville. Cindy is the Associate Director of Development & Operations for the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.

Cindy and Tom Murphy are self-described parents of two dogs, Maddie and Marshall. Maddie is a dachshund whom they rescued eight years ago when her former owners abandoned her. Marshall came to the couple as a puppy a year ago (under some unusual circumstances), and he has led quite a charmed life ever since.

On a brilliantly sunny, unseasonably warm day in late September, golfers gathered at the River Club golf course for the annual golf tournament and dinner hosted by Duluth-based Green Financial Resources, LLC. President and CEO Roger Green and his staff welcomed guests as they trickled into the clubhouse following a day of competitive golf.
