Loganville Christian Academy Announces Hybrid Education Model for Fall 2019 School Year

Hybrid offering to combine traditional and at-home education environments

Loganville Christian Academy (LCA) is pleased to announce the rollout of its newest educational offering, the Hybrid-Model Education program for the 2019-2020 school year. The Hybrid program combines traditional and at-home educational environments and will be available for students entering kindergarten and first grade.

Loganville Christian Academy to offer a hybrid-education program that combines traditional and at-home education environments.

“While our traditional model will also remain in place for these grade levels, we believe this offering for kindergarten and first grade will attract the stay-at-home mom or dad who desires a combination of traditional on-campus instruction led by a degreed educator with parental training and support in the delivery of at-home education by the parent,” said LCA Administrator Christy Monda. “We have visited schools in Georgia that offer both models, but there is currently no program like this in our area. This is not a co-op. This is a traditional, rigorous, Christ-centered education being delivered in a nontraditional way. A hybrid”

When Loganville Christian Academy opened its doors in 1998, the mission was, and still is, to “prepare students academically, spiritually, and socially for God’s call on their lives.” For the past 21 years, LCA has successfully delivered this mission through the avenue of a traditional educational model.

However, LCA also has a rich history of embracing innovation and change. A few of those examples include the launch of digital curriculum, 1:1 technology, and a partnership with Project Lead the Way that launched LCA’s STEM department. The school’s mission remains firm. The methods of delivering that mission, however, are fluid as seen with the launch of LCA’s Hybrid program.
