City of Norcross to host a Meet and Greet Fiesta with special guests Mayor Craig Newton and City Council Members

The City of Norcross will host a Town Hall Fiesta at the Norcross Cultural Arts and Community Center, 10 College St NW, Norcross, GA 30071 on Saturday, February 10th from 11am to 2pm. This event will include time to mix and mingle with Mayor Craig Newton, City Council members, other city officials, as well as presentations by local organizations. It will conclude with greetings and comments from Mayor Newton.

“We invite all of our citizens to embrace this opportunity to get to know those who represent us in local government,” said Mayor Newton. “We ourselves look forward to getting to know you in return.”

The City of Norcross is pleased to present the following program:

Meet and Greet, 11am: Join us before the main event for socializing and refreshments. Meet our city’s officials in a casual environment where you can chat about anything that is important to you.

Presentations, 12pm: Beginning promptly at noon, hear presentations prepared by many local organizations, including: Corners Outreach, Gwinnett Legal Aid, Gwinnett County Juvenile Court, Good Samaritan Health Clinic, Gwinnett County Public Library – Norcross Branch, Latin American Association and Next Generation Focus.

Welcome, 12:35pm: Mario Guevara, reporter for MundoHispanico, the largest Hispanic newspaper in Georgia and the Spanish division of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, will lead us in welcoming Fiesta guests and introducing the remainder of the afternoon’s program.

Introduction to the Mayor, 12:40pm: We are honored to have Pedro “Pete” Marin, Georgia State House Representative – District 96, introduce City of Norcross Mayor Craig Newton.

Greetings from the Mayor, 12:45pm: Mayor Craig Newton is pleased to be addressing Fiesta guests as he begins his first term with the City of Norcross.
