She represented the Pi Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. at Clemson University. Teylor will go on to represent the state of South Carolina at the Alpha Phi Alpha southern region conference in Orlando, FL in March of 2015″. Teylor is the daughter of April and John Newsome of Lawrenceville, Ga.
