In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth, Ronald, Wayne, Charles, and Marion Roberts, and great-granddaughter: Winter Nova Toncz Cates.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Tracy and Jeff Deel of Meansville, Wendy Roberts of Lawrenceville and Rev. Landon and Lorinda Roberts of Columbia, MD; brother: Gerald Roberts of Augusta; sisters and brothers-in-law: JoAnn and Ray Dowds of Augusta, Carolyn and Jack Mason of Hephzibah, and Brenda Frommer of Aiken SC; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, July 27, from 2-3 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Deel, and Rev. Landon Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville.
