Eight teachers were awarded grants to supplement outstanding programs at their schools. Grants were awarded for Orchestra recording equipment, additional elementary school musical instruments, outdoors classroom butterfly supplies, Spanish enhancement programs and guitar amps.
The grants were delivered to the teachers by the Grant Selection Committee during the day to help promote awareness to the schools, teachers and student.
