Philadelphia Winn Chapter Awards DAR Good Citizen Awards to Five Gwinnett County Seniors

Each year, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Chapters have the opportunity to award the DAR Good Citizen Award to an outstanding student in the senior class of a public or private school accredited by their state board of education.

This student must demonstrate the qualities of a good citizen, defined as dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

The 2021-2022 DAR Good Citizen Awards were presented on February 19th by the Philadelphia Winn Chapter DAR Good Citizen Committee Chair, Cheryl Hall. Each DAR Good Citizen Award recipient was presented with a monetary gift, a DAR pin, an award certificate, a recognition wallet card, and a custom yard sign. The students receiving the DAR Good Citizen Awards were given the opportunity to enter the DAR Scholarship Essay Contest.
