This combined organizational fundraiser and community event invited local artists to design and create playable mini-golf holes which were put to good use that Saturday morning. This year’s six hole course was a huge hit with both children and adults.

Playing the mini-golf was free for everyone. Although, players were encouraged to make a contribution to the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville or “vote” for their favorite hole with a small donation. The fundraising portion of the event raised nearly $2,300. The funds raised will be put to work in the community by supporting the Lawrenceville Co-op, Lawrenceville Elementary, and other local projects.
Two different distinctions were recognized for the artists who created the mini-golf holes. First was a Fan Favorite Award. Through donations in honor of their favorite hole, players selected the winners. Voting ended in a tie, so the Cats of Creative Enterprises (created by the Creative Enterprises Art Program – ceisite.com/) and the Grand Canyon (created by The Local Sign Man – thelocalsignman.com/) will share the Fan Favorite Award. Second, the City of Lawrenceville selected two holes to stay on for an extra week so park goers could appreciate them longer. Again, the Grand Canyon (created by The Local Sign Man) was selected as one of the honorees. The second hole retained was the Three Little Pigs (created by the Aurora Theatre – auroratheatre.com and sponsored by Peach State Federal Credit Union – peachstatefcu.net).
