Traditions

Every family has traditions that signal the beginning of the holiday season. From building gingerbread houses to picking a Christmas tree, everyone has a different idea of what is the biggest indicator of the holiday season. For me, I can say for certain that this is not just one thing, but a conjunction of many different events that lead to this feeling.

Sharing the Joy of Christmas

There’s never any doubt on Ethridge Road in Auburn that the Christmas season has arrived thanks to Brenda Bedingfield. Christmas abounds at her house and is a source of great joy and cheer for many.

The race is on

Thanksgiving is in the rear view mirror, and as I heard a woman remark the other day as I ran into the supermarket to pick up a few things, “the race is on.” Oh my, just hearing those words makes me get all knotted up inside, because the woman was referring to the Christmas season. That’s the race that’s on.
