A US Postal Inspection Service Dangerous Mail Specialist will conduct training on the: prevention, recognition, mitigation, and initial investigation of mailed threats, explosives, and hazardous materials.

DULUTH – As new owners of Gwinnett Place Mall, Moonbeam Capital Investments has developed a corporate initiative to ensure that the mall takes an active role in the community. As part of this initiative, community outreach plans for next year involve partnering and supporting local non-profit organizations and hosting events that are community focused.
Only a few spots remain! The City of Duluth Police Department is proud to announce the scheduling of a Citizen Police Academy. Citizens are invited to attend this free academy, which has been designed to introduce citizen to the various functions of police work. The department is now accepting applications. The thirty-hour course will begin on January 23 and end on May 24, 2014.
