SAN DIEGO- Airman Ramiro Alvarez, an aviation boatswain’s mate from Lawrenceville, Ga. and 2009 graduate of Phoenix High School, is serving in the U.S. Navy aboard USS Somerset (LPD 25), one of the world’s most modern, networked, survivable, and transformational warships. USS Somerset is named in commemoration of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Lawrenceville, Ga.  – Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) was recognized with an American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes GMC’s success in implementing the highest standard of care for heart attack patients. And GMC is the first hospital in Georgia to receive the Gold Plus performance distinction.

IronAccents.com was established in 1999 by Valerie and Mark Kirves. The family owned and operated company began as small online operation that specialized in wrought iron brackets and wall plaques.
