City welcomes world to test technology in Gwinnett smart city

On a sunny Wednesday morning in September, Peachtree Corners city leaders, partners and more than 400 invited guests attended the unveiling of the city’s Curiosity Lab, an autonomous vehicle test track that welcomes the world to put its smart city technology through the paces. Onlookers were wowed by displays of the latest 5G and IoT technology, along the 1.5-mile testbed.

City Celebrates Newest Eatery, HotRocks Grill

PEACHTREE CORNERS – Gwinnett County’s largest city has become a dining mecca of sorts. Just barely 5 years old, the city continues to expand on its variety of culinary choices. Since January 2016, 31 new restaurants have opened in the city. The latest is HotRocks Grill, a fast-casual eatery serving dishes with a distinctive Mediterranean flair.

City Earns National Recognition for its Geospatial Project

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA, May 11, 2017 – Just two months ago the American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia (ACEC Georgia) announced that the City of Peachtree Corners’ public works department had won the prestigious Georgia Engineering Excellence Award for its Geospatial Asset Inventory Project.
