Gwinnett DAR member celebrates Constitution Week at library for the blind

Daughters of the American Revolution member Judy Clements Dyer found a creative way to celebrate Constitution Week this year. She designed an exhibit showcasing the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution in Braille, in order to make these historic documents available and accessible to the blind and visually impaired.

NSDAR celebrates Constitution Week

There are two documents of paramount importance to American history: the Declaration of Independence, which forged our national identity, and the United States Constitution, which set forth the framework for the federal government that is still in use today. This year, the annual celebration began September 17, 2016.
