On December 18th, National Wreaths Across America Day 2021, a fresh balsam wreath from Maine was laid on every veteran’s grave during a rainy ceremony at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceville.

Every chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has the option to select an Outstanding Teacher of American History from their own community. The Philadelphia Winn Chapter in Lawrenceville selected Mr. Johnny Griffin as their 2021 nominee.
On May 15, Lydia McGill and Ann Story, members of the Philadelphia Winn Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, gave a presentation on the DAR Museum at the Gwinnett Historical Society’s meeting. They highlighted the furnishings in the DAR Museum Period Rooms.
