Gwinnett Alphas seek to raise $2,000 in school supplies for local students

The brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Rho Kappa Lambda Chapter, located in Gwinnett County, are seeking to raise $2,000 in school supplies for local students during its Alphas for Achievement Cookout, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville, Ga.

Lawrenceville’s own, businessman and entrepreneur, Clyde L. Strickland enjoys mentoring future entrepreneurs in the necessary arts of business, leadership, finance, marketing, and networking at The Academy of Business and Entrepreneurship, located in the Clyde L. Strickland Entrepreneurship Center at Discovery High School.

Gwinnett’s at it again!

This past summer our immediate staff (family and Meredith who is like family but much calmer) made a decision by not making a decision.  None of us went on vacation. By late August we were a pleasant but zombie like group.

Central Gwinnett High School Names and Dedicates Field House

On Friday evening, August 19, 2016, Central Gwinnett High School (CGHS) named and dedicated the new field house to honor the philanthropic work that included his time and talents of long-time Lawrenceville resident, Clyde L. Strickland.
