Duluth, Georgia – Wow! Chief Randy Belcher has led the Duluth Police Department for 30 years. He began his career in Duluth as an officer in 1976 and in 1984 was appointed Chief. At that time he was the youngest Police Chief in the State.
Only a few spots remain! The City of Duluth Police Department is proud to announce the scheduling of a Citizen Police Academy. Citizens are invited to attend this free academy, which has been designed to introduce citizen to the various functions of police work. The department is now accepting applications. The thirty-hour course will begin on January 23 and end on May 24, 2014.
