Snellville – Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the most common inherited cardiac disease and is present in 1 in 500 in the population. It is one of the most common causes of heart-related death under the age of 30 and can affect both men and women equally. Eastside Medical Center earns National Accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons

SNELLVILLE – The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted Three-Year Accreditation to the cancer program at Eastside Medical Center. To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.
