Eastside Medical Center earns National Accreditation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons

SNELLVILLE – The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted Three-Year Accreditation to the cancer program at Eastside Medical Center. To earn voluntary CoC accreditation, a cancer program must meet 34 CoC quality care standards, be evaluated every three years through a survey process, and maintain levels of excellence in the delivery of comprehensive patient-centered care.

The physicians joining the practice include Dr. Marc I. Unterman, Dr. Marcus C. Sims, Dr. Michael A. Lipsitt, Dr. Niraj Sharma, and Dr. Demir Baykal.

(Snellville, GA) (June 12, 2017) – On June 7th, Eastside Urgent Care, in affiliation with Eastside Medical Center, celebrated the ribbon cutting and community open house at their Lilburn location at 976 Killian Hill Rd. The Lilburn Eastside Urgent Care location is officially open to see patients as of June 8th.
