The Dictionary Project was started in Lilburn by the GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club several years ago, and each year we strive to provide special dictionaries to all area 3rd grade students in Lilburn elementary schools.

Back by popular demand, ‘Behind the Garden Gate’ tour of Lilburn area gardens is returning again this year on Saturday, May 9th, from 9am – 3pm.
The Lilburn Woman’s Club and Mountain Park United Methodist Church are hosting a free workshop on Senior Issues at Mountain Park UMC Family Life Center on August 16 from 9 am till 1 pm.
The Lilburn Farmers Market is very excited to begin our 5th season with our new sponsor – Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. The market is moving to the Good Shepherd campus at1400 Killian Hill Rd, Lilburn 30047 and will be open every Friday night in June, July and August from 4 pm to 8 pm. The market is much more than a place to purchase farm fresh fruits/produce and locally made items.
Members of the GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club held an Easter Bonnet decorating contest hosted by our Public Issues Program Co-chairmen, Nancy Chilcoat and Lee Jurjevich to raise money for our USO partnership.
