Lawrenceville, Ga.– Interviews are underway at Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) for the new internal medicine residency program. The first class of internal medicine residents will begin training in June 2015; GMC hopes to accept up to five residents during the first year.

Through this agreement, two orthopedic trauma specialists, Bruce Ziran, MD and Philip Kregor, MD, are now affiliated with GMC-Lawrenceville.

Lawrenceville, Ga.  – Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) has announced it has expanded cardiac services to include electrophysiology (EP), which is the diagnoses and treatment of heart arrhythmias, or problems related to the heart’s rhythm. Located on the Lawrenceville campus, the expanded program features two state-of-the-art labs, fully dedicated to electrophysiology. This latest addition further rounds out the offerings at the Strickland Heart Center, which opened in January 2012.

GMC to help community with Affordable Care Act Seminar and Enrollment

from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lawrenceville, Ga. (February 25, 2014) – GMC is hosting an ACA enrollment event at the Resource Center to connect residents and resources as it relates to the national healthcare enrollment process. Seminars will be presented every hour on the hour highlighting the enrollment process. In addition, ACA healthcare navigators will be on-site to assist the public with the process.
