The Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Division and the Gwinnett County Health Department are advising residents to use caution after a rabid raccoon was contained Friday.

Gwinnett County commissioners and community partners on Tuesday broke ground on an expansion of Graves Park that will include an interactive fountain and a new soccer field.

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved a contract that will allow Graves Park in west Gwinnett to offer features to help patrons beat the heat and engage in some pickup soccer.
