The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved a $2.59 million contract to design the first of a series of improvements and expansion of the Infinite Energy Center that will transform it into a “come early and stay late” destination.
Lawrenceville – Gwinnett Commissioners awarded nearly $22 million in resurfacing contracts for county roads last month. The Georgia Department of Transportation will pay for 29 percent of the contract cost.

More upgrades are in store for the Crooked Creek Water Reclamation Facility at 6557 Plant Drive in Peachtree Corners after Gwinnett commissioners signed off on an $8.86 million contract for engineering design and construction support on July 15.
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will hold three public hearings to receive comments on the proposed 2014 millage rates.
