Gwinnett Animal Shelter joins Clear the Shelter Program on Saturday

Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement on Saturday will participate in the fourth annual Clear the Shelters initiative with an Adoption Jamboree. Clear the Shelter is a national effort involving hundreds of shelters that offer free pet adoptions to help empty shelters and provide homes for dogs, cats, and other animals.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 20, 2017) – The Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Division and the Gwinnett County Health Department are advising residents to use caution and avoid animals behaving in unusual ways after three people in Norcross were attacked by a rabid cat on Monday.
