Gwinnett County has grown to be a large and sprawling metropolitan county. I believe I heard it said a couple of weeks ago that Gwinnett is now the most diverse county in the nation, certainly in the state.
Crooked Creek Road will get new curb, gutter and sidewalk, pedestrian crosswalks and drainage improvements thanks to an agreement between Gwinnett County and Peachtree Corners. Commissioners approved the plan on July 15.

My view from the “bleachers” this month brought so many wonderful options to write about. A couple of great folks stood out this month. One person represented what it means to get involved and be a good sport and the other showed that even in the face of adverse conditions, keeping your sense of self is crucial.
