Roots of Wisdom Exhibit at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center

From duck decoys to surfboards, chocolate to popcorn, knowledge from indigenous people is of benefit to us all. The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center’s (GEHC) newest, interactive exhibit, allows visitors to explore how the blending of age-old traditions and modern science work together to restore vital ecosystems, provide sustainable food sources and improve human health.

Amateur photography exhibit focuses on Gwinnett Bicentennial

Buford — In celebration of Gwinnett County’s Bicentennial, the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (GEHC) and the Georgia Nature Photographers Association (GNPA) are hosting an amateur photography exhibit spotlighting local nature scenes with historical significance. The exhibit, featuring more than 90 works by amateur and student photographers, will be on display until Aug. 11 at GEHC located at 2020 Clean Water Drive in Buford.
