Central Gwinnett High School Names and Dedicates Field House

On Friday evening, August 19, 2016, Central Gwinnett High School (CGHS) named and dedicated the new field house to honor the philanthropic work that included his time and talents of long-time Lawrenceville resident, Clyde L. Strickland.

LDAC Scholarship winners

Lawrenceville – It was a big day for 21 high school male graduating seniors heading to college.

21 students each received $1,000 scholarships at a luncheon recently at Georgia Gwinnett College.

Students win state math contest

A team of four students from the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST) were crowned State Mathematics Champions in the 40th annual state mathematics tournament on Saturday, April 30, in Macon.

Brookwood High media specialist honored as district’s best

Brookwood High School’s Jan Wilson is Gwinnett County Public Schools’ Library Media Specialist of the Year. Wilson, who has 19 years’ experience, has developed a successful program that is exemplary in the promotion of reading, information technology utilization, collaborative and innovative techniques, and community involvement.
