Snellville Boy Scout Troop #506 Lends Helping Hand to Tropical Storm Irma Victims

Hurricane Irma wreaked havoc and destruction throughout parts of the Caribbean and Florida last week. On Monday, September 11, 2017, the weather system, although downgraded to a tropical storm, adversely affected all Georgians with high winds and torrential rains that caused downed power lines, fallen trees, and the death of at least three Georgians.

Gwinnett offers storm debris removal along county, state roads

Lawrenceville – To assist residents with disposal of yard debris caused by Tropical Storm Irma, Gwinnett County will provide free storm debris removal along county and state roads, but not on city streets. This cleanup effort only applies to tree limbs, branches, and other vegetative debris.
