Candy corn, fudge, hot cocoa and more await those who attend the upcoming seasonal events held by Lilburn Woman’s Club.
A registered nonprofit, Lilburn Woman’s Club (LWC) organizes numerous events every year to provide fun occasions for local families and to fundraise for its many community projects.
The Town of Lilburn was established in 1890, and houses were built beginning in 1895. 93 Main Street is the oldest commercial building in town and was built in 1910.
The Lilburn Woman’s Club and Mountain Park United Methodist Church are hosting a free workshop on Senior Issues at Mountain Park UMC Family Life Center on August 16 from 9 am till 1 pm.
The Lilburn Farmers Market is very excited to begin our 5th season with our new sponsor – Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. The market is moving to the Good Shepherd campus at1400 Killian Hill Rd, Lilburn 30047 and will be open every Friday night in June, July and August from 4 pm to 8 pm. The market is much more than a place to purchase farm fresh fruits/produce and locally made items.
Our fabulous dedicated volunteers from the GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club (LWC) Education Program are bringing back the Little Free Library to Lilburn this summer. Bring a book, read a book and then return a book (or multiples) to encourage reading and fight illiteracy in our community.
GFWC Lilburn’s Women’s Club and Mountain Park United Methodist Church will be hosting a free seminar for adults to heighten the awareness of the struggles facing our youths entitled “What’s Around the Corner?” on September 21, 2013
