Why women really can’t have it all, today

As a child who grew up in the 70’s and graduated college in the 80’s, the mantra, “You can do it all” was what we often heard.   Now, with decades of experience under my belt as a wife, mother of three teens, a daughter who has helped three parents go home, and a business owner who has travelled the world, I want to tell you otherwise.  Why?  God has a different plan for us.

Their love for one another was obvious on a rainy, cold January morning when I walked into Parkside Bakery to meet a friend. In fact, it was magic enough to compel me to interrupt their breakfast to ask them how long they had been married.
