LAWRENCEVILLE — Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) earned a Best in Category Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties (NACo). The awards honor innovative, effective county government programs that strengthen services for residents.
GMC is the first hospital in Georgia to receive Gold Plus recognition
Lawrenceville, Ga. – Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) was recognized with an American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes GMC’s success in implementing the highest standard of care for heart attack patients. And GMC is the first hospital in Georgia to receive the Gold Plus performance distinction.
Ten of this year’s National Achievement Scholars are from Gwinnett County Public Schools, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently announced.
