Eastside Medical Center collected 9 pounds of opioid medications during its “Crush the Crisis” opioid take-back day on September 7 to help combat the nation’s opioid crisis. Numerous community members participated in the event by dropping off unused and expired prescription medications.

On Saturday, September 7, Eastside Medical Center will host “Crush the Crisis,” an opioid take back event. Law enforcement officers from the Snellville Police Department will be on-site to assist with the collection and disposal of unused medications from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
