Local Businesses and Golfers Turn Out in Support of Organization with a Mission to Break the Cycles of Homelessness, Poverty and Domestic Violence in North Metro Atlanta

As a nonprofit organization that understands the importance of giving second chances to homeless families in need, Rainbow Village was proud to play host to one of its most successful fundraisers to date – the 2019 Rainbow Village Second Chance Golf Classic.

Launched in 1991 as a faith-based organization focused on helping homeless families, Rainbow Village has grown by leaps and bounds over the course of the last three decades. Once based out of Christ Episcopal Church in Norcross as Rainbow House, the nonprofit could serve up to two families at a time with transitional housing.

Duluth – This summer, Jackson EMC Foundation – funded by contributions of the cooperative’s members – provided a $15,000 grant to Georgia-based nonprofit, Rainbow Village.
