SNELLVILLE – The Snellville Commerce Club rewarded two area students with $1,000 scholarship checks Tuesday.
Each year, the Snellville Commerce Club, the business arm of Snellville Tourism and Trade, awards two $1,000 scholarships to a student active in either FBLA or the DECA program from Brookwood and South Gwinnett high schools. Students must demonstrate academic success and have been engaged in the community.

The Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. (“GPS” and the Upsilon Alpha Omega Chapter (“UAO”) hosted their 9th Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Ball in April at the Infinite Energy Center.
Joseph Seta, a University of Georgia student from Grayson, Ga., studying animal and dairy science, has been selected to receive the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Irvin M. and Marey C. Wofford Scholarship for international travel for the 2016-2017 school year.
The Miss Gwinnett County Scholarship Pageant will be held on September 17th at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds.
Lawrenceville – It was a big day for 21 high school male graduating seniors heading to college.

Atlanta – The Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association (AAPA), a community-based organization composed of alumnae from National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) member fraternities, awarded Eliza Antonowich, a graduating senior at Norcross High School, a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her academic and service-based accomplishments.
