Located off Grayson Hwy., the family-run pizzeria was a casual sit-down joint serving simple pastas, chicken wings, salads and, most importantly, pizzas made with Mark Petersen’s handmade doughs.

Snellville Farmers’ Market opens season June 2

The award-winning Snellville Farmers’ Market will open its ninth season Saturday.

The popular weekly market is open each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Towne Green through Sept. 29.

Edward Sezonov is known throughout the southern part of Gwinnett County as “The Snellville Honey Man”. Every Saturday during the Snellville Farmer’s Market’s June-to-September season, he mans a booth and sells the local honey he harvests from the 40-odd hives he maintains.

Jail dogs to be featured at Farmers’ Market

SNELLVILLE – People coming to the city’s nationally acclaimed Farmers’ Market may go home with more than a dozen ears of corn and a basket of tomatoes. For the second year, market organizers are teaming up with Operation Second Chance, an organization that places dogs and cats cared for by Gwinnett County Jail inmates with new owners.
