What is in a name? A rose called by another name shall smell as sweet. A friend called Pickle, will be a friend forever.
A dear friend, Mell Hulme, recently died. Mel taught and coached at Central Gwinnett and Shiloh High Schools in Gwinnett County.
There are pros and cons to being without electricity. I realize that having pros may make no sense to some of you, but it is true.
Has this not been a year to forget? Just think about what we have been through. None of it is fun or pretty.
This morning had a beautiful beginning. No cats had thrown up during the night.
I was trying to choose a topic for the October column. Should it concern the centennial anniversary of women’s rights, Halloween, or Covid-19, a nightmare in itself? Then it clicked. October. Pink. Ta-ta month!
As many of you can imagine, breakfast at our house is pretty much catch as catch can. Truthfully, that describes most any meal at our abode.
