Schools, Companies & Programs Honored for Their Achievements in STEM
Eight outstanding schools, companies or programs were awarded this year’s annual STEM Education Awards held in early November at the Loudermilk Conference Center in Atlanta.
Lanier High School Principal Dr. Reuben Gresham has been awarded the Henk Koning Exemplary Educator Award by the National Career Academies Coalition (NCAC). The award recognizes an academy educator who has made a significant contribution to the success of a career academy.
On May 6, 2016, Couch Middle School Students experienced a whirlwind celebration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities to celebrate Georgia STEM Day.
About 11,000 students began classes on August 18, 2014 at Georgia Gwinnett College, setting a new enrollment record as the college continues its pattern of dramatic growth.
