Fall is my favorite time of year

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves, everything pumpkin, and most of all, I love Thanksgiving! I love Thanksgiving because it makes me realize that there is so much to be thankful for, especially my family, my friends, and my loyal customers.

The race is on

Thanksgiving is in the rear view mirror, and as I heard a woman remark the other day as I ran into the supermarket to pick up a few things, “the race is on.” Oh my, just hearing those words makes me get all knotted up inside, because the woman was referring to the Christmas season. That’s the race that’s on.

One Down, Two to Go

Are you full? I am. I’m full of turkey and dressing of course, but I’m also full of love, hope, and promise as well. I think it’s safe to say that our family enjoyed our best Thanksgiving ever this past week, and for that, I’m also full of gratitude. All of our children were here, and our granddaughter was here too, enjoying her first Thanksgiving ever.
