Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) generated more than $451 million into the local economy of Gwinnett County during fiscal year 2016, an increase of nearly $35 million from the previous year, according to a recent economic impact study commissioned by the University System of Georgia (USG).

About 11,000 students began classes on August 18, 2014 at Georgia Gwinnett College, setting a new enrollment record as the college continues its pattern of dramatic growth.
Georgia Gwinnett College awarded more than 100 bachelor degrees during its 2014 summer commencement, held at the Gwinnett Center.
