Estate Planning | Love Deserves More than Candy and Flowers

It’s that time of year again – love is in the air! As Valentine’s Day approaches, we make dinner reservations and shop for the perfect gift to express our love. This Valentine’s Day, consider giving a heartfelt gift—an estate plan to provide support and guidance for them during grief and loss. Whether your assets are large or small, giving your family the peace of mind of knowing your wishes in these difficult times is priceless.

Dave and Kathy Emanuel

All with Heart

What happens when you ring the doorbell of someone you have never met and introduce yourself? That’s exactly how long-time Snellville resident and City Councilmember, Dave Emanuel met his wife, Kathy, in 1975. Dave, a Southern California resident at that time, owned an advertising and public relations company. During a business trip to Chicago, Dave decided to take a weekend jaunt to visit friends in Boonville, Missouri.

Russell and Sue Winter first met during Spring Break in Daytona Beach in 1971.

A Chance Encounter

Russell and Sue Winter’s relationship first began during Spring Break, 1971 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Both students, unfamiliar with the other, attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Sue and her Delta Zeta sorority sisters and Russell and his Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brothers hopped into their respective cars and headed for the beach that March.
