The highly anticipated opening day of turkey hunting season was March 25 and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division expects that the 2017 season will be better than 2016.
Each year, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division recognizes anglers for outstanding catches. Anglers who catch a fish that meets or beats a specific weight or length limit for that species are eligible for a free Angler Award.
